Dr Rima Smith, MBChB, PhD, MRCOG

Clinical Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Rima is a clinical lecturer and senior registrar based at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital where she completed her PhD in 2015. Rima’s research interests lie in reproductive endocrinology, miscarriage and paediatric and adolescent gynaecology.

Rima is passionate about thyroid disease and fertility and obstetric outcomes. She is a co-author of the upcoming RCOG Green-Top guideline on Thyroid disease and pregnancy.
Rima enjoys teaching and is an engaging and enthusiastic teacher.
